3 hours away from the busy streets of Manila, my mom and I spent Good Friday strolling around Taal, Batangas. On top of our list was to visit this majestic church, the largest Basilica in Asia: Taal Basilica of St. Marin de Tours.
We took pictures, lit candles, went up the Bell Tower, and bought cashew nuts. After a long, tiring day, we headed to the place where most restaurants are located. Sadly, the restaurants either ran out of food because closing time is near, or it is closed because of Holy Week.
